Bryant Buernet is a Dominican American writer and director from the Bronx. Buernet began his studies at The Lee Strasberg Film and Theater Institute as an actor, and ultimately transitioned to screenwriting after attending The City College of New York (CCNY) where he earned his BFA in Film. Buernet’s post graduate education concluded at L'Université Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris where his primary focus was New Wave Cinema, and he has independently directed and produced two short films: I Like Them Separate (screened at the National Dominican Student Conference at Harvard University) and Urge (winner of Best Original Fiction Film at The CCNY BFA Film Showcase).

He is currently developing his first feature film.
